Missiological Snapshot: The Vantage Point of the True Story of the Whole World
Over the next several weeks, I am posting four videos—Missiological Snaphots— from a series I curated from four different Vantage Points. You can access the full series including the full slide deck on my Resources Page.
Vantage Point of the True Story of the Whole World
Vantage Point of Culture
Vantage Point of Your Context and Mine
Vantage Point of the Great Commission
These short videos flow from my research here in North America, but I think the the basic principles can be applied wherever you engage in meaningful gospel conversations.
The first Missiological Snapshot comes from the Vantage Point of the True Story of the Whole World. I choose to use this description, the true story of the whole world, to remind us:
The story of the Bible is true and is not a fable filled with moral metaphors
The story of the Bible tells the true story of the whole world
The story of the Bible informs and impacts everything we do.
The true story of the whole world, in other words, is not simply one of many religious stories out there, it is the true story of the whole world.
